KNOW ABOUT

LANDSMAN’S
OPPONENT

SPOILER:  HE WON’T EVEN BE VOTING FOR HIMSELF

  1. WANTS TO BAN REPRODUCTIVE FREEDOM & GAY MARRIAGE.

  • He has already committed to national bans on abortions, IVF, and gay marriage.

Sonza submitted the following answers to the Cincinnati Right to Life questionnaire:

    1. Do you support federal and state legislation to ban abortion-on-demand from fertilization to birth?” YES

    2. Do you support legislation prohibiting the killing of human embryos?” YES

    3. “Do you support the union of one man and one woman as the only definition of marriage that should be legally recognized at all levels of government?” YES

2. ACTUALLY WANTS TO MAKE IT EASIER FOR TEENS AND CRIMINALS TO GET GUNS.

  • Sonza isn’t just against common sense gun laws. He actually wants to make it easier for teens and criminals to have guns.

He went out of his way to oppose Ohio Senate Bill 351, calling the bill “ill-advised.”

    Senate Bill 351:

    • Increases the firearm purchase age to 21

    • Includes a red flag provision to empower the justice system to get guns out of the hands of would-be criminals

3. TOP PRIORITY IS TRUMP 2024.

  • Sonza has made it clear re-electing Donald Trump is his priority, even as Trump has:

    • Undermined our democracy by trying to overturn the 2020 election

    • Pledged to pardon violent criminals on January 6

To that, Sonza says: “I’m focused on getting Donald Trump re-elected, right, so that he is the President in 2024.

4. SUPPORTED CUTS TO THE MILITARY AND VETERANS AFFAIRS BILL.

  • Sonza publicly supported the FY24 Milcon VA House Bill.

    FY24 Milcon VA House Bill:

    1. Cuts military funding by over $1.5 billion from the year prior

    2. Prohibits the VA from providing reproductive healthcare to female veterans

    3. Creates a license to discriminate against LGBTQ+ veterans

Landsman voted for a bill that fully funded the VA in 2024 and added $9 billion. Sonza attacked him for doing so.
